Beyond the Chatbot

You are a design team tasked with creating the next generation of AI learning partners for high school students. Focus on aspects that go far beyond simple grammar checks.

Task: Design and describe your AI system by answering the following tasks:

  1. Name Your AI:

What is its personality, and what tone does it use

    (e.g., Socratic/Challenging, Encouraging/Empathetic, or Sarcastic/Witty)?

  2. Assessment Superpower:

Name one thing your AI can assess and provide feedback on that a human teacher struggles to do quickly

(e.g., tracking the hesitation time before answering each question, or evaluating the originality of your ideas against a massive database of similar texts).

  3. Ethical Boundary:

What is one strict ethical rule you would program into your AI to ensure it remains a helpful partner and not a cheating tool?

(e.g. The AI must never provide the final answer; it can only give the next step.)

  4. Feedback Example:

Provide a short example (3-4 sentences) of how your AI would give feedback to a student who wrote a poorly structured opening paragraph for a history essay.
